On the 16th and 17th of March, Barcelona hosted the European Theatre Training on Theatre of the Oppressed (T.O) and Islamophobia. The training was designed by Giolli and Pa’tothom. It was held in presence, during the week of international events of TheTIP project. It was co-conducted by Roberto Mazzini (Giolli) and Jordi Forcadas (Pa’tothom) in English and Spanish. The goal was to give participants an overall idea on how to use Theatre of the Oppressed against Islamophobia and provide them with practical tools and strategies to recognise and fight Islamophobia in their daily life. It was a valuable and interesting experience, where participants could share opinions, take action, and strengthen their network of activists and entities involved in the fight against Islamophobia with new connections and tools.
